New name and corporate ID

Simcon A/S changes name and becomes Xcelgo A/S. The name change marks a new standard for testing control systems in the automated industry.

From Simulation to System Emulation and Virtual Commissioning

During the past five years the company has developed software end methods which have made it possible to perform operational realistic tests on control systems on even the largest and most complex materials handling system. At this point we have performed pioneering emulation projects for customers such as Carlsberg, Danish Crown, LEGO Systems, Volvo, and Bang & Olufsen.

In addition, the company has developed Experior, which is an innovative software platform for virtual automation. Experior is based on modern software technology and contains elements from the computer game industry, which opens for completely new modeling possibilities.

Experior brings the whole process to new level, where it is possible to meet the need for accurate modeling and testing of automated storage- and production plants and thereby ensure a high control software quality, keeping hand-over dates, qualified training of future users and optimization of the daily operation.

To acknowledge the new professional- and business focus and to prepare for international software sale Simcon A/S becomes Xcelgo A/S.
